A special collaboration watch between the TV anime Lycoris Recoil and Japanese watch brand KENTEX is coming. Two character-inspired models will go on sale starting Saturday, January 31, 2026, each produced in a limited run of 300 pieces.
Character colors meet a full-fledged solar watch
KENTEX, a Japanese watch manufacturer also known for producing Self-Defense Forces watches, has announced a new title for its anime collaboration project “&C.” The latest release is a collaboration watch with the TV anime Lycoris Recoil, launching on January 31, 2026. The lineup includes two models—“Chisato Nishikigi Model” and “Takina Inoue Model”—each limited to 300 units.
The watch is powered by a Japan-made solar quartz movement, eliminating the need for battery replacement. When fully charged, it can run for up to approximately four months. Built with practical performance in mind, it offers strong legibility and 100m water resistance—key features for a military-style watch—making it suitable for daily wear as well as outdoor use. Comfort and durability are also considered, with an integrated case design that helps prevent the crown from hitting the wrist, and leather reinforcement around the NATO strap holes to reduce fraying.
Design details reflect each character. Both models feature the Lycoris school emblem at the 12 o’clock position, and a gun silhouette motif at 3 o’clock unique to each character. The Chisato model uses a red dial inspired by her character color, with a seconds hand that evokes her non-lethal rounds. The Takina model adopts a blue (navy-tone) dial inspired by her color, with a seconds hand styled after a bullet. On the case back, the DA marking is engraved alongside “Chisato” or “Takina,” plus a serial number indicating the limited production run of 300.
Visibility in low light is enhanced with high-luminance luminous indexes and hands. In addition, a special gimmick appears when the seconds hand points to 15 seconds: a luminous “bullet trajectory” emerges from the muzzle design at the 3 o’clock position, blending practicality with collector-friendly playfulness.
