“Watanare Exhibition” Heads to Osaka from March 11, 2026: New Displays for Episodes 13–17

The “Watanare Exhibition” is coming to Osaka, celebrating the TV anime There’s No Freaking Way I’ll be Your Lover! Unless… The event is designed as a full “look back” experience, letting you relive the story through a large collection of scene stills and production materials laid out along the anime’s timeline.

At the venue, you can enjoy story-focused displays packed with scene images and setting materials, key animation drawings showcased alongside video to revisit memorable moments, and photo spots that recreate iconic locations from the series. For the Osaka stop in particular, displays for Episodes 13–17 will be expanded with 40+ additional scene stills and key drawings, making it easier to follow the latter half of the story through to its conclusion. New merchandise will also be available to mark the exhibition.

This area follows the flow of all 17 episodes, presenting plenty of scene stills and setting materials in story order. It’s built to help you track Renako’s encounters and growth step by step, so you can naturally re-experience the narrative while spotting “turning points” where relationships and emotions shift.

Key Animation & Original Drawing Displays

Here, standout scenes are presented through video plus displays of original anime drawings. Seeing the materials up close makes it easier to notice the fine details that don’t always jump out on screen, such as subtle facial acting, line work density, and how motion is constructed. If you have favorite episodes or “that one scene,” this is the section you’ll likely linger in.

Photo Spots

Photo spots recreate memorable locations from the anime, starting with Renako’s room and extending to settings like the luxury hotel poolside and the Koto family’s bath. It’s a good way to experience the atmosphere of Watanare as a space you can step into, not just a story you watch.
