GREE Entertainment has unveiled new preview images and the official synopsis for Episode 19, “Barely Making It Through,” from the second cour of the TV anime Let This Grieving Soul Retire.
Based on the fantasy-comedy light novel Let This Grieving Soul Retire: The Weakest Hunter’s Guide to Raising the Strongest Party by Tsukikage, the series has surpassed 2.4 million copies in circulation. The first cour aired in October 2024 and quickly rose to the top of various streaming charts.
The second cour is currently airing every Monday at 23:30 on TOKYO MX, BS Nippon TV, Sun TV, MBS, and AT-X, with early streaming on ABEMA and d Anime Store every Saturday at 23:30. Other streaming platforms are also updating episodes sequentially.

Episode 19 Synopsis – “Barely Making It Through”
The city has fallen under the control of the Barrel Bandits, and Lyz and her allies have been captured. To lure out Cry, who still remains unseen, the gang threatens to harm their hostages—but suddenly, the city is attacked by an army of Undermen, the dwellers of the underground.
Leading this horde is none other than Cry Andrich himself. To make matters worse, a dragon appears, plunging everything into chaos. Amid the unpredictable turmoil, a trio wearing laughing skull masks steps into the scene, setting the stage for a dramatic confrontation.
